Ableton Push 3 - Simpler (Trigger/Gate)

Using the latest release of Live 12 + Latest Firmware for Push 3 Controller Version.

I can't change the trigger/gate on the Push 3, am I doing it wrong or are others going thru the same thing?

Sorry, I can't check right now nor do I remember about this specifically, but are you still seeing this?

Yes, I see it, too. And in Classic Mode, the same button doesn't toggle Loop.
Changing Trigger/Gate or Loop in Live does not update the value on Push 3.
This is with Live 11 and 12, release and beta.
No problems with Push 2.
It works fine in Push 3 standalone.

Edit:
I noticed the button works fine in presets and an empty Simpler, but it stops working as soon as I load a sample.
The button stops working when I drag a sample into a preset. Even after undoing this action, it is still not working in the preset.
Swapping to a similar sample does not disable the button.
When I save a Simpler with a dropped sample as a preset and load that preset, it works fine.
It looks like dropping a sample is the only cause of this issue.

Another observation: When I toggle to standalone and back to controller, the button works again.
