Sample Rate & Playback

Hello

Whenever I increase the sample rate to anything above 44100, the playback suddenly starts to clip and sounds like a very badly tuned radio. Id normally use a higher sample rate to reduce latency - especially when recording vocals.

I'm using Ableton 12 Intro - can anyone advise?

I think you'll have to provide more details before someone can help with this. For instance, what is the hardware configuration? Are you increasing the sample rate before or after you create the project? Are there existing audio clips in the project that are at 44.1?

An obvious guess is that maybe when you increase the sample rate, the computer CPU can't handle it and the playback becomes glitchy.
