Live 12 slow to Quit

Hi. Something really weird is happening. This is a new MBP install of Live 12. A few 3rd party plugins. Anytime when i've worked in a project and Quit, Live is showing the Beachball for at about 3o seconds.. Then finally it quits.

When i open Live and don't work in any project, Quit is instantaneous.

Happens both Native as in Rosetta.

Any ideas how i can find out what is stalling?

Maybe check if this is a VST3 that is causing this? Otherwise you could try to reset Ableton:
