Hi group.
This may seem a daft question, but do I need to install Live 12 on a computer to Upgrade Push 3 standalone to Live 12?
The prompt displayed on Push 3, directs me to Http://push.local/upgrade. Would this need Live 12 running on a computer connected to the same network as the Push?
The only other information I can find suggests I need to 'authorize' Live 12, but this guide doesn't make it clear if I need to install LIVE 12 on a regular computer/laptop first.
Given that Push is standalone, shouldn't there be a way to Authorise this directly on my Live account, without the need to install the program?
I'm in the process of organizing a new laptop for LIVE 12 but I'd like to have Live 12 on Push 3 as soon as possible.
Oh, the pain.

You're not forced to you L12 on your computer, but you need a L12 license.
Do you already have one?

Ok now, thanks for the hint.
I had to use a USB to ethernet dongle on the push, but the upgrade link http://push.local/upgrade now works. I then had a prompt to paste the license to authorize the push. It seems to be doing its thing. The ethernet connection should be faster too.
