Oscilloscope trending visual

Hello. Although Live is music software, it’s interestingly enough I’ve found Max for live tools that create OSCILLOSCOPE visualization.

The oscilloscope visualizations look awe fully similar to that of stock market trends. The only difference is that Live is musical events and the other is financial events. Has anyone else noticed this similarity?
