Hi - I'd appreciate your thoughts and help here. I installed 12 Beta and then decided against continued participation in the Beta program. I uninstalled the Beta and kept the full version. However, there seems to be some file hidden somewhere that is serving as the default program for opening certain programs. I can't find the file anywhere and it is driving me crazy as it is stopping me from running certain programs (it's not where the path says it is). Emptied trash. Ran Onyx.
/Applications/.Ableton Live 12 Beta_updated.app/Contents/MacOS/Live
A screenshot of the error message is below - and I recognize this is just as likely an Apple problem as Live. Please help! Thanks very much in advance - s.

Did you replace the Live launcher in your Dock?
If you leave the old one, it will [try to] launch the old/other version of Live.

Yep - I cleaned the Beta out as much as I could - including in the Library, Application Support, Sounds, etc. folders within OSX. I got rid of everything that I could think of.
Essentially the Beta version is not supposed to exist on my system anymore. But when I try to open certain files like a M4L device outside of Ableton (which should launch the current version of Live, it defaults to the Beta version mentioned in the attachment.

The _updated folder is the remainder of a failed auto-update. This is a hidden folder.
To find it, open Finder and go to the Applications folder.
Press Command + Shift + . (period) to make the hidden files appear.
Delete the folder in question.
Press Command + Shift + . (period) again to hide the hidden folders.
