Control Bar Button Question

Post by YataForLuda » Fri Sep 27, 2024 11:44 pm

At the far right side of the Live Control Bar, there are two square buttons stacked on top of each other (just to the right of the CPU overload button).
What do these indicate when they light up?

There's another set of square buttons stacked on top of each other between the KEY and MIDI buttons. I can see that they light up when a MIDI command is sent or received, but I'm not sure what the other set at the very right edge of the Control Bar do.

Thanks!

In live 12 on the bottom left there is a small coloured circle (yellow on my system) with a i in the middle, i for information I guess. If you click on this button a small window opens directly above. This is an on line help window. Move the cursor over other object in the Live GUI and a brief text descriptions appears in the information window.

Doing this; the top little square flash when MIDI message are received. The bottom little square flashes when MIDI messages are being sent from Live.

Hope this helps

Thanks. Best I can tell, the two small squares between the KEY and MIDI buttons react when messages are sent in and out of remote control mappings. The two small squares at the far right are non-mapped messages, I'm assuming?
