Global Scale / Midi Clip Scale

Hi,
I created a Max for Live device that can change the global scale and root note, which also updates on Push.
However, since MIDI clips act as the scale master, the global scale changes according to them.

Is there a way to use LOM to change the scale of every MIDI clip in a session?

There is no global scale.
And that would be nice to set clip scales via the API indeed.

There are a lot of parameters, like groove and time signature, that are accessible via the LOM, but scale and root note are among the few missing ones.

root_note, scale_name and scale_mode are properties of live_set.

What are you trying to do ?

You can't change the scale of a clip, if that's what you want to do (and it sucks).

Okay, you made me make an experiment, it's quite brutal, but maybe not useless, and even potentially more useful than the current scale setting paradigm.
It's just a proof of concept, but this device will force any selected clip to have an F-mixolydian scale.
EDIT : well, it's actually not useful to force every clip to be in the same scale... it's only the the selected one. Anyway here's the rough patch :
