Hybrid Reverb IR file location
I want to copy the IR files that come with Convolution Reverb PRO into Hybrid Reverb. Where is the folders for the Hybrid Reverb IRs. I'd rather not drag and drop all the IRs into Hybrid Reverb.
(I finally found the folder the Convolution Reverb: ...Live Packs\Max for Live Essentials\Max Audio Effect\Convolution Reverb\IRs)
Thanks for any help!

Re: Hybrid Reverb IR file location
They're here
"C:\ProgramData\Ableton\Live 12 Beta\Resources\Builtin\Samples\Hybrid\ImpulseResponses"
As you'll see, ableton is being tricky with the file names.

Thanks The Rabbits!! That helps a lot.
Now for extra points: After pasting an IR file from \Convolution Reverb to \Hybrid,
any idea how to get Hybrid to recognize the file? It's not shown in the menu.

The files for sure need to be referenced elsewhere, just adding them in this folder won't work.LargeMedium wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2024 3:58 pmThanks The Rabbits!! That helps a lot.

Re: Hybrid Reverb IR file location
I just noticed that.
There is a way because me of a few months ago figured it out. If I select User in Hybrid Reverb I get the whole list of the Convolution IRs.
I'll track it down in the morning (Australian time) and let you know.

That's most probably because you dragged one of Convolution's IR in an Hybrid instance in a saved set. Each time an IR from a folder is loaded in Hybrid, you get access to the whole folder's content. The Rabbits wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2024 6:01 pmI just noticed that.

What the OP wants is to add IRs in the native Hybrid IRs default database.

Re: Hybrid Reverb IR file location
Quite right. I'd like to have the IRs from Convolution Reverb PRO available in the menu for Hybrid Reverb.
I did try changing the file name using the convention I see in the Hybrid Reverb folder. No joy.

That sounds right. I spent an hour or so trying to add files to the folder and at some point dragged one into the device and they all suddenly appeared in the User folder.[jur] wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2024 8:59 pmThat's most probably because you dragged one of Convolution's IR in an Hybrid instance in a saved set. Re: Hybrid Reverb IR file location
So, if anyone knows how to get IR files ,(copied from the Convolution Reverb Pro files), available in the regular menu in Hybrid Reverb, (not the temporary User folder), please let us know.
