Recording from main track introduces latency

Why recording from the main track introduces latency whereas recording using 'Resampling' has no latency?

I'm testing this with Live 12.1.1:
1. Drop a simple drum loop to an audio track in the arrangement.
2. Arm one track taking input from the previous drum loop track Post-fader.
3. Arm another track taking input from the main track Pre-FX.
4. Arm another track taking input from the main track Post-FX.
5. Arm another track taking input from the main track Post-fader.
6. Arm another track with 'Resample' input.
7. Start recording in arrangement.
8. Zoom in so you can see the different delays in all the tracks.

What I noticed is that tracks 2 (track bounce) and 6 (resampling) have no latency but the tracks 3,4,5 (main track recording) do have some latency recorded into the clips.

Is there any reasoning behind this or is it a bug?
