Modify .adg files to us AU Versions of plugins instead of VST2

I´ve got loads of old presets i can`t use anymore, because the vst2 version of the plugin (inside an instrument rack) isn`t working anymore for me.
Has anybody tried to mod the .adg file so it loads the AU version instead?
Would be great if anyone could give me some hint!
