Browser Content Previews Playing but Not Audible

Post by Simplifi » Sun Jan 05, 2025 1:13 am

When I select any content in the browser to preview (e.g. Packs > Beat Tools > Drums > 808 Boom Kit.adg), I can't hear the Playback. The audiograph is visible in the Preview Tab at the bottom and looks like it is playing but it's not audible.
My audio interface is setup correctly and I am able to record and playback tracks in Live.
Under the Options menu the Browser File Preview is enabled.
Cue Out on the Main track is directed to the correct output. Preview/Cue volume on Main track is turned up.
So, why am I unable to hear previews?

Are you listening on proper monitors or headphones? The frequency is relatively low (808 sub).

Can you hear the previews of the other presets in the pack, like the Bonzo or Cooked kit?

I've tried monitors and headphones. Nothing. Not a sound.
None of the presets work. I can't hear any.
Crazy. I don't know what else it could be.

If only presets from this Beat Tools pack are not working, deleting and reinstalling the pack might solve the issue.
Otherwise, double-check the obvious things, such as whether the preview icon is enabled, the audio outputs etc.

Could it be that your Cue Output is set to a different channel than your monitors or headphones?
