Move is limited to 4 tracks, Note to 8.
Transfering 'projects' from Move to Note and vice versa is more or less the idea of this 'eco system' ; however, when you create something in Note with more than 4 tracks, Move will only be able to import 4 of them, which hampers the exchangeability, more or less.
Is this something that can be adressed in a future software/firmware update in Move, perhaps offering 2 'banks' of 4 tracks, or am I missing the whole point here ?

Re: Move and Note integration : number of tracks
I think the (unfortunate) point here is that they didn’t make the Move powerful enough to be able to handle more than four tracks of build in sound generation/playback.
It’s a bit sad because with Live Lite, they consider even eight tracks the absolute beginner throwaway bundle with everything level of music making.
There will probably be a crossover between Move and Push, a “Move Plus”, in the future with 8 tracks for 800-850 your currency…

Re: Move and Note integration : number of tracks
In one of the Ableton presentations the head of development for Move said it will never have more than 4 tracks. Just a heads up so you don’t hope for something that doesn’t happen.
Personally I just stick with 4 tracks in Note if I know I’m going to need to transfer sets to Move. Easy enough.
