Hi y'all:
I have two scenes in Session View which represent two distinct parts of a song on either side of a tempo change.
The first scene (A section) is at 100bpm, while the second (B section) is at 86bpm.
I can't seem to get the tempo change to "take" between scenes.
I've manually indicated the tempo in the Scene Tempo/Time Signature section to the right of the scene names.
I've conformed each of the clips within the scene to be marked for the same tempo on each track, i.e., all the clips in the A section are Warped to 100bpm, and all the clips in the B section are Warped to 86bpm.
Every clip in the A section is set to a Follow Action of Next/Next.
Every clip in the B section is set to a Follow Action of Stop/Stop.
When I play it through, though, it stays at the original A section tempo rather than slowing to the B section tempo.
Obviously there's a flaw in my approach. What (possibly obvious thing) am I overlooking?

Re: Tempo Following in Session View (12 Suite)
You need to use Scene Follow Actions, just launching the clip does not trigger the scene so does not observe the tempo change you've dialed in i beleive.

Hi there. I do mention the Scene Follow settings in my OP, although in case it wasn't clear, they are being launched from the Scene section, and not via individual clips. The Follow action itself is working fine - it goes on to the B section scene with no trouble - just not observing the tempo change.
Re: Tempo Following in Session View (12 Suite)
You only mention follow actions in Clips in your OP. Turn off follow actions on the clips of the first scene and use follow actions in the Scene trigger setting instead of the clips.

Aha, thanks. I hadn't noticed the master follows on the Scenes. Took me a minute to dial in the Action Time (as you apparently can't leave that blank to run out the length of the clips), but it works perfectly now.
