Ableton Live 12 AU/VST for Neural plugin there and loaded but not used

Total Ableton newb ... have looked around and tinkered but ...

My Guitar signal is recognized in Ableton Live 12 Suite, Neural DSP Morgan suite plugin recognized and loaded (or so it appears) in Ableton but the guitar sound coming out is some generic one from somewhere, clearly not the Morgan suite. Have tried both the AU and VST plugins

Have several screen shots of Ableton; trying to figure out how to load here

And actually, any of the stock guitar sounds loaded in Ableton don't change the tone at all, so it's not a plugin issue.

Most likely you're listening to the direct sound (hardware monitoring) of your audio interface without any processing done by Ableton.

I stumbled into the fix which was, in my audio strip that contained the guitar plug-in audio, changed the "3" button to the "s" selection below. Will figure out what that means.
