Drum rack play column won't go below c2?

I'm new and must be overlooking something here. When I create a drum rack and add battery 4 to a pad in it, I can't make the play column of the i/o go lower than c2. What am I doing wrong? Thank you for your help!

Are you perhaps confusing C2 with C-2, which is the lowest?
The dash is a minus sign, not a separator.
