I am new to Ableton Lite 12. I got it included when I bought a small keyboard. I am finding it very frustrating/unclear. I need to know how to adust the audio-out signal so I can shift it to account for latency while playing (NOT recording yet, ONLY playing). I know I can't use "External Audio Effects" because I'm in Lite (of course not!)
I have a Focusrite Scarlet 2i2. I have it set to "Direct". I'm hearing the sound come through it, since I have my speaker plugged directly into it. There is no setting for delay or latency in the drum VST.
I've tried setting up the plugin as a MIDI source, then routing that signal to an audio track. I thought I could solve my problem using "Track Delay" at the bottom of the audio track, but I've swung that dial left-and-right, and I don't think I can hear any difference.
What am I missing here?
How to account for latency when using a VST like Steven Slate Drums?

Hello.
Welcome. For latency with lite "only while playing" I believe that the buffer size is your only way to minimize it. What buffer size do you use ? You can too check " latency compensation while monitoring" (afk, not sure of the exact name of this option)
