Selecting sample layers in live automatically

Hey folks, I have a sampler instrument on a live track. it has a number of sample layers. Each layer is mapped to a single note. But it looks like in order to play each sample, I have to change the layer selector. This makes it very hard to play it in realtime. Is there a way to have the layer selector follow the note mapping for that layer.
