Hi everyone,
I'm looking for advice on how to quickly change between presets (or entire plugins) without draining CPU.
So far I've landed on a chain with multiple plugins, mapping a macro to the chain selector which I can control via control surface. Additionally, I am trying to toggle each selected plugin device ON while keeping the others off, to try to save on CPU.
But - When I map device 1 ON to chain selector position range 1 to 1, it seems to work, but eventually some or many of the devices stop toggling on, and I'm not sure why this is (see photo).
Anyone have any methods they use to change between sounds like this?
Or, anyone have luck with changing between presets on plugins like Kontakt player or arturia pigments? This would also be great...
Thanks

Re: Swapping instruments (low CPU)
Update - the chain selector SEEMS like it works when using the mouse, but when using a controller (launchkey rotary) it seems to loose functionality. As I turn the knob to 1, device 1 turns on, then as I keep turning, the device turns off, even though chain selector is still at 1...
And from there the rest of the devices don't turn on as I adjust chain selector.
Does anyone have ideas as to what could be going on here?
Thanks again
