Live Scale is a pitch quantizer like the "Scale" MIDI FX, but with live input for the scale notes.
Put a "conductor" in one track, that you can either press chords live, or write your scales in clips.
Put a "unit" in every track you want to follow the conductor's scale.
You can have up to 4 independent groups of conductors/units.
Only one setting : "time window" which is how fast you have to press notes to be recognized as a chord/scale.
It's free as always : https://maxforlive.com/library/device.php?id=12857

Re: Live Scale : a M4L device that is better than Live's Scale ?
Thank you very much, an inspiring device that comes closest to what I've been looking for since ages (to be true: The Brain in OP-XY does exactly what I'm looking to do in Ableton / on the Push).
I'm assuming the notes in a clip (in a unit track) act as scale degrees (of the "scale" set on the conductor)
Ideally the conductor would allow to set a root note.
Meaning, if I enable all "white notes" and C, this would result into a C Major scale, if I set a D instead it would result in a D Dorian scale:
C Major in conductor:
C in Clip > C played (scale degree 1)
E in Clip > E played (scale degree 3)
D Dorian in conductor:
C in Clip > D played (scale degree 1)
E in Clip > F played (scale degree 3)
Nevertheless, please consider this as inspiration, not "feature request". I'm happy you are offering this (also running on Push) for free

Well, practically I don't see how this would be working.
The device works pretty much like the Scale MIDI FX. And I like to keep things simple in order to keep them modular.
I think you could achieve this if you add a Pitch MIDI FX in the equation ?

updated to v2.1. Still free, still awesome.
- removed the time window concept. Now you simply add notes as you go, as long as you keep holding one note.
- Two modes : "+" : only add notes,"+/-": removes released notes.
- option to enable or disable simultaneous duplicates of the same note.
- new ALL button to quickly enable all notes.
