Help: Nord Drum on Push 3 standalone – can’t play pads chromatically via 16 pitches mode Drum Rack

Hi all,

I’m using Push 3 standalone with Ableton’s Drum Rack to trigger a Nord Drum. Each voice is getting a trigger via multiple instances of external instrument, but I can’t play them chromatically in 16 pitches mode– they’re locked to one MIDI channel/note. If use as external instrumens it works just fine

I’ve tried assigning pads to different MIDI channels in the Rack, but “New Notes” still won’t spread them chromatically. Any ideas?

How do I route pads to play chromatically via 16 pitches mode?


Any tips or examples would help – thanks!

My setup doesn’t allow to replicate yours, but I’m pretty sure that’s because the 16 pitches use MPE to transpose notes.
