Ablelton Live and Digital ID
Will Ableton make software CD's available for those who will not get a digital ID...
Re: Ablelton Live and Digital ID
This is quite absolutely unlikely to happen.

Re: Ablelton Live and Digital ID
Do you mean that there will be no digital ID required for internet access as is presently being discussed in places like Australia and the UK, or that Ableton would never supply CD software for those who would not accept digital ID's...
Re: Ablelton Live and Digital ID
TBH I've no idea what Digital ID is about (you'd be welcome if you could tell me more... even though i could do a quick search by myself).
But, what I'm sure about is that there's no chance anyone will ever see the software delivered on CD (rather DVD, knowing the size of the app)

Re: Ablelton Live and Digital ID
So the type of Digital ID that is being pushed in the Western countries entails a biometric verification such as an iris scan to be able to go online and access the internet...No VPN's...
GROK summarizes..."A proposed digital ID is an electronic representation of an individual’s identity, designed to streamline online verification for accessing services like government programs, banking, or travel, often using secure technologies like encryption or blockchain. While it aims to enhance convenience, security, and efficiency by reducing reliance on physical documents and minimizing data sharing, critics warn of potential risks like mass surveillance, data breaches, and loss of privacy if not implemented with strong, decentralized, and voluntary frameworks."
Recently when Spotify announced that they would require verification to use their site, some Spotify subscribers quit and recommended a return to CD's...
Perhaps Ableton could work on a doomsday or EMP version of Ableton that would come installed on a dedicated tablet that could run for years in the case of no access to the internet or a catastrophic event...this could be a great promotional...though Push 3 comes close...

Re: Ablelton Live and Digital ID
The implementation of digital IDs (if and when) will potentially have impact only on sensitive sites/apps which need age verification etc.
Why would this have impact on Ableton functioning?

Re: Ablelton Live and Digital ID
Digital ID would not affect Live function though it would not allow anyone online unless they presented a biometric ID like Iris or fingerprint scan...those who refuse this digital ID system, like the concerned Spotify subscribers who cancelled subscriptions, could not access Ableton online...
This is apparently a massive issue coming up...
While many will submit to this all seeing, all knowing system,...many, like purebloods who refused the bioweapon injection, will also try to resist the digital ID...
All part of a beast system like the Chinese credit score system...
Therefore the point is that if someone does not submit to a digital ID, Ableton could decide to make the software available offline if they did not want their customers to be subject to a potential digital ID...
Though perhaps Ableton is a globalist corporation that will march in lockstep to digital currency, digital ID and complete globalist control... that this is a German corporation and given the destroyed state of Germany(the greatest civilization in history), all this is possible...
If someone is onboard with the projects of the EU certainly none of this will present a problem at all...
Here is a breakdown of some of the looming issues...

Re: Ablelton Live and Digital ID
Digital IDs would be implemented on a site or app (like Spotify) basis, specifically to verify age. I've never heard of any plans to block all Internet access via digital IDs. Ableton is not an online platform so these potential restrictions do not apply.
In addition, there is a lot of conspiracy related content in your post so would be best to stop posting here, as the Ableton forum is not the place for this

I get the feeling that *less internet access* might be a healthy thing for you, so maybe this Digital ID could have some unintended upsides…?Rod Underleaf wrote: ↑Thu Aug 14, 2025 4:47 am...many, like purebloods who refused the bioweapon injection, will also try to resist the digital ID...

Re: Ablelton Live and Digital ID
Pure blooded music production in Ableton is unequaled...clearly I have turned all my Ableton knobs up to "eleven"...soon with all the injected graphene oxide, some Ableton users will be able to control their sets telepathically if they have the right injections and a good 5G connection...
Being old school Ableton I prefer my music hands on with my knobs and faders...
Also I know that some of the technical issues folks are having with Ableton's knobs disappearing is that they are still wearing masks and just have to adjust the position of the mask downwards...
But yes, in terms of Ableton Music production the purebloods are the winners with the knobs and faders...
