Will sets with midi and key mappings still function on Push standalone?

Post by zcboorman » Mon Sep 22, 2025 5:49 pm

Hello I have a looping set that I do live using my line 6 helix to send key and midi mapped messages to live to trigger loopers and run the set. It’s very functional and very fun to use. I don’t think there’s a looper pedal on the market that can do anywhere close to the same as I have with live.

it would simplify my setup to be able to get rid of my laptop and external audio interface (presonus rack mixer) and run everything on push standalone. However I’m not sure if I transfer this looping set to P3S if I can plug in the Helix with usb and have the midi and Key mappings function correctly.
I’d imagine midi mappings work fine as you can use class compliant midi devices. I can’t find anywhere in the manual that confirms if usb keyboard devices will still trigger key mappings though, the Helix acts as both a midi device and a keyboard and both are crucial to the way my looping setup works.
If anyone can confirm this works that would be great. I can’t justify buying the standalone upgrade unless this will work!

Another plus if ya’ll can confirm on the new push 3 Standalone Beta whether I can also use my Helix as an audio interface, midi controller and computer keyboard at once. That would make this a powerhouse looping station.

Sorry for the late reply, i didn't notice earlier.
Yes, any key/midi mapping done in Live will port over to Push SA.
