Crackles witch Focusrite Scarlett 2i2

Hi,
I was just loaned a Scarlett 2i2 which I use with Ableton Live 12 intro.
When I listen to a piece I'm composing, I sometimes hear cracking noises.

What also surprises me is that I can't adjust the samples.
Apparently, I must be forgetting something in my settings...?

I'm assuming you're on Windows?

To change the sample rate on a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2, open the Focusrite Control software (or Device Settings panel on Windows)
