two separate macros within the same rack for Looper

Hello,

Since the looper doesn’t allow me to use a macro to control Double Speed or Half Speed directly,
I thought I could use macros for that.
However, I found that I can’t have two separate macros within the same rack
controlling the speed function independently—one for ±12 semitones and another for ±24 semitones.

How can I achieve this functionality?

After recording a loop with the Looper, I’d like to change its pitch up and down by fifths (7 semitones) and octaves (12 semitones), ideally up to 14 or 24 semitones in total.

I can control the pitch with one Macro, but since it moves freely through the entire range, it’s hard to quickly reach the exact intervals I want.

I’d like to achieve something similar to the Chase Bliss Mood MKII pedal, which allows smooth pitch changes up and down by one or two octaves, as well as by fifths and octaves.

You'll need a MAxforLive device to be able to acheive this generally.

If a macro is necessary for having automatic control when using the device, you can stick to the above options.

If you’re doing midi mapping, you might want to consider mapping using a midi note range.

If you map the parameter across 5 consecutive midi notes and set the limit to 24, you should have for example:
C = -24
C sharp = -12
D = 0
D sharp = +12
E = +24

Maybe I misunderstand the entire conversation, but why not just use Variations? Assign a macro to the speed dial, type in your desired values, and make a snapshot of each. Maybe I read your problem all wrong...
