Push3 like audio interface
Push3 like audio interface
I'm currently using Push3 as my only audio interface, and sometimes I just want to listen to music or watch a video or movie, but the Push3 screen won't turn off. Is there a way to keep Push3 functioning as an audio interface without its screen working? Yes, I turn the brightness down to minimum, but I want to turn it off completely. If this isn't possible, I hope the Ableton team is reading and can add this option to Push3 in the future.
Re: Push3 like audio interface
I would get a dedicated audio interface and save the Push for what it's intended for.

Re: Push3 like audio interface
IMO that's the least of the issues when using Push 3 as an audio interface. Outside of Live without Live running in the background there's almost zero control in Mac OS over Push 3 as an audio interface.
For fun I've been using an old Art Tube Opto-8 8in/out ADAT pre and it doesn't have any onscreen mixer either, so when using Push 3 I have 10 ins that I can't necessarily gain stage well if not using Live. Fortunately the OPto-8 has LEDs next to it's pres, but it's just weird for Push's two inputs.

I would just cover the Push with a cloth or such when only watching movies.
