I wanted to share my latest Max for Live device: VOID FILTER BOB.
This isn't just another filter emulation. It is a hardcore C++ port of Miller Puckette’s iconic [bob~] object from Pure Data, re-engineered specifically for Max at first, then as a Max for Live for easier Ableton Live's users integration.

The Tech under the hood:
The device runs on a custom external that acts as a mathematical solver, replicating the physical behavior of the classic 24dB/octave Moog ladder circuit. By modeling the actual electrical resistance, it delivers that legendary unstable, "creamy" resonance that digital filters often miss.
Why use it?
- Zero-Latency: High-performance C++ code ensures zero lag, making it perfect for live performance and critical tracking.
- Pure Data DNA: Directly based on the DSP architecture of Miller Puckette.
- Surgical & Stable: Optimized to be extremely light on the CPU while remaining rock-solid.
- Expressive Grit: From subtle warmth to extreme spectrum shaping and distortion.

And for those of you who want the related Max package for using it in Max...
Check the open-source repository: https://github.com/gluon/bob-for-max
If you are looking for a filter that breathes and reacts like hardware without the latency tax, this is for you.
Enjoy!
