I feel like this is going to be huge. there are all sorts of cool workflow use cases for this. for one, I hate having to use a (now broken) m4l device to color tracks. seems like this should allow me to handle that with an extension.

one of the vids I saw was about how helpful this will be for very personalized stuff, but I think there’s a huge opportunity for stuff large swaths of the user community would love. a whole new marketplace—cannot wait!

Will this make it possible to make a plugin wrapper, like an audio effect rack, that ignores the added latency of devices on tracks? E.g. to fix the latency compensation when using SC-Ducking plugins? I'm not a programmer but damn i wish this was a thing.
