MacOs 15.7.7 breaking Live 12.3.5 menu ?

Two or threee days ago I updated from 15.7.5 to 15.7.7 on my 16" 2021 M1 MBP. Since then I don't have anymore menu for Live 12.3.5. Live doesn't show the usual close / send to dock / full page buttons in the upright corner.
Live 12.4 works fine. For some reasons, I have to maintain compatibility for a while with this previous version because I have some shows made by somenone else in 12.3.5. Due to the recent launch of 12.4, I'm also reluctant to use it for a first time collaboration with a director.
Can anyone confirm this behavior ?

Well, after a search in the forum, it looks like a problem for others too, back at least to version 11. So it doesn't seem to be related to MacOS version.

After retesting 12.4.1, the problem exists but at least I can see and click the menu if I take the pointer up the screen. But as soon as I go back to the Live window, the menu AND the Live title bar disappear, and won't be back if I exit fullscreen using the bottom right yellow arrow. Using the key shortcut works fine.
@[jur] : any chance Ableton would adress this silly bug ?

That's the expected behaviour with any fullscreen app on macOS... so I must be missing something here

Is that about mac laptops that have the camera black rectangle maybe? Is the menu always visible even in fullscreen on those machines?

Live 12.4 contains this fix:
"The macOS Dock and menu bar now appear when moving the mouse cursor to the corresponding screen edge."
I don't have problems in 12.3.8. Maybe the bug was present in 12.3.5, and it was fixed in 12.3.6 or later.
macOS has a setting that allows you to always show the menu bar in Full Screen.

If I use ctrl+cmd+F to enter fullscreen (not the green button), I see the same/similar issue (bottom of window cut off, missing traffic light buttons topleft) - but this only happens if the MacOS Mission Control setting 'Displays have separate Spaces' is disabled. Once 'Displays have separate Spaces' is enabled (requires a logout>login), fullscreen works as expected.

My bad, I had deactivated "screens have distinct spaces" a while ago to use Isadora and the new behavior that auto-manages app spreading across spaces caused this and other little weirdnesses.

it's still an ableton problem though - it handles that setting very badly. worth prodding them about it (i already did a while back)

Do you use a window manager app, like Moom, Rectangle, or BetterSnapTool, that adds more features for laying out windows?

No.
