using vsti instruments parameter the peak meter is freezing

it´s not realy a big problem but it´s wondering me. So if i use some vsti parameters like cutoff or volume or what ever and change the Parameters with the mouse the peak meter for the channels are freezing. But only in the moment i change the parameter.
