ok, here goes.
Im using ableton live 5 and its my first time using ableton. I want to use to lay down guitar tracks and bass lines. now, heres the problem. The driver type is MME/DirectX. I can record when the input and output devices are set to Fast track dx just fine. but in these setting it wont play it back. i have to switch the input output devices to play it back. but once they are in these settings, i cannot record. im really lost here, any help would be great
