Enigma: Locators vs Clip View

In the arrangement, I juggle between locators 1, 2 and 3 (I assigned a computer keys to each of them). Live is not playing back and the clip view is open.

I go to Locator 1.
In the clip view, a clip starting at this locator is being selected. It is not the clip that is on the track that is highlighted

I go to Locator 2.
In the clip view, none of the clips beginning at this locator are shown.

I go to Locator 3.
In the clip view, a clip starting at this locator is being selected. This clip is on another track than the clip of locator 1.

I go back to Locator 1
A new clip is selected

Im goin mad.
I can't figure out any logic behind that behavior. Why is it always different??? I feel that juggling between locators randomly shows clips in the clip view.
Ableton?
