Arpeggiator free rate unstable

The arpeggiator free rate is unstable in version 5.01. And I can't see that the beta bug fixes has adressed this problem...

unstable? like it makes your system unstable?
the tones are unstable?
speed unstable?

The speed is unstable I'm running XP SP1.
