live5 - evolution x-session problems -eq three-gain-crossfad

Post by deepfunktribal » Wed Sep 21, 2005 9:54 am

tryed to assign to the eq three kill switches the assignable buttons of the x-session - tryed all different modes available in ableton for midi but it only works for kill once and no back to turn on again is possible (pressing the button on evolution turns off the switch but pressing again does not turn it on again)
second problem is that when i assign a rotary to the GainLow and set the range to max. 0db i cannot go down as much needed by rotating the rotary - setting the range to "normal" does make problems because then it is not possible to see if 0db are applyed because this thereafter will not be in middle of the rotary...
last problem is that i cannot change the crossfader mode to soft or hard.

interested in the answers also... just ordered Live and an x-session myself and they both arrived in the mail today. I will hook it up and see what I find.
