RENDERING PROBLEM

HI EVERYONE
TRYING TO RENDER A LONG SET TO DISC,IT JUST WONT WORK...
WHEN IM RENDERING A CLIP,EVERYTHING WORKS FINE..
IM SETTING THE LENGHT OK,STILL GOT NOTHING BUT EMPTY CLIP
ANYONE KNOWS WHATS GOING ON? [/b]

Hi DJTIBBS,

firstly, welcome to the forum.
Also when having a problem please always provide us with basic information like the version of Live you use on which computer platform and operating system.

"Render to Disk" should render all audio data routed to the Master track.
When you render and just get this empty audio file, does it have the right length?

IM USING LIVE4.0.1 ON A FUJITSU LAPTOP,INTEL CELERON 2.4GHZ 512 MB RAM WINDOWS XP SP2.
CREATIVE SB AUDIGY 2 SOUNDCARD
YES WHEN IM RENDERING THE FILE,IT IS EMPTY BUT HAS GOT THE RIGHT LENGHT..
I WAS JUST TRYING TO RENDER A CLIP,IT WAS WORKING FINE...

I would get the latest version 4.1.4 and a new keyboard that has a working caps lock key.

finally i had the money to get a new keyboard,and it's working!!
even the caps lock key too!!
not just a pretty face there eh?

As well as getting the latest version, also try removing all plugins from the master bus, as there had been some issues with them in the past.
