the best VST ever
I just heard about LiveCut on this forum and I finally have a tool to get really intriquite beats out of already mashed up breakbeats.
All I need is Kontakt 2 and LiveCut and I am set for live beat performance. I would pay for it.

A few months ago I would have been tempted to say the same thing. But now I'm getting increasingly concerned with *controlling* cutups, and hands on is paramount for me. I'm leaning more towards PhatmatikPro plus some granular-stutter stuff done in reaktor.
Having said that: the second one of those algos in Livecut does rock though...

Splonki actually allows the user to resequence incoming audio via midi live.... pretty damned cool. I could never get Glitch to work on my machine... it crashed live several times.davy wrote:You might like these ones too...Ambioun - Techno Man wrote:I just heard about LiveCut on this forum and I finally have a tool to get really intriquite beats out of already mashed up breakbeats.

Splonki is my favourite plug-in. I use it for a lot of stuff. Only thing that drives me mad is the fact it doesn't save all parameters and the 1/4 buffer divisor size is actually 1/6. I also get glitches. This is no problem (but in fact nice) on drums. But when you run a piano through splonki, it's often not that nice.Machinate wrote: Splonki actually allows the user to resequence incoming audio via midi live.... pretty damned cool. I've sent andreas an e-mail about this, I've posted on kvr forum, but he doesn't seem to respond
