Just opened FLstudio with Live 5 Demo running (and FL studio running in VSTi mood). No problem here.
Maybe you can run FL studio as a Vsti in Live.

I've had rewire problems. FL will give some weird "access violations" or something like that randomly.

FL is really good for creating grooves. Thumbs for it.

But not as a main DAW. It's automation/routing scheme sucks.
Turn up the radio. Turn up the tape machine. Look into the sunset up ahead. Roll the windows down for a better taste of the cool desert wind. Ah yes. This is what it's all about. Total control now.

well i'm going back to fruity cause i'm sick to death of live. I think it needs to decide whether its dj tool or sequencer.

and sort out the rendering

just curious: what problem(s) do you find with Live's rendering?

It sounds like Fruity Loops is not recognizing that there is a rewire app running, so it's trying to reopen the audio driver. Make sure that Fruity Loops rewire functionality is enabled. To do this choose "Install Plugin Version" under the advanced menu in the FLStudio menu in Windows Start menu (Windows Start->FL Studio 5->Advanced->Install Plugin Version). This will ask you if you wnat to enable rewire functionality. Then launch Live before launching FLStudio.

yeah I know tell me about it, I have written several tracks in live using the same plugins synths and using the same mixing process. When i render it and compare it too fruity, fruity just sounds fuller and smoother.

Why not take those files and fix em up in Pro Tools? You might get better results :)
