Yellow Tools Culture + Live 5

Post by gsbe » Thu Sep 29, 2005 12:07 am

I'm unable to get these two to play together. I see here on the forum that Live 4 and YTC did not work together but was hoping that with Live 5's additional MIDI capabilities that they might get along. Anyone have any idea what's going on here?

I use Culture AU in live 5, no problems up to now. What's not working when you use culture?

I get a constant sine wave as soon as midi data is sent to culture. Can you post a small .als file or screenshot that shows how you have Culture set up with Live 5? Maybe I don't have it set up correctly. BTW, I'm using it as a VSTi on a Windows box, I'm assuming that AU is audio units on a Mac.

I assume that this is not a live 5 issue. If you hear only sine waves, maybe Culture didn't find the samples.

I can mail you an .als song with culture as VST, generated on a mac, but it should work on windows, too, I think.
Don't know how to upload files to the ableton board, I think it is not possible.
