Anyone here use Orion? Im just starting out with Live...

I've spent most of my music time inside Orion (http://www.synapse-audio.com/). We're talking years here... and I always got "your tracks sound to video game-ish" or something similar to that. I've used Reason and exported my loops since it's sequencer and layout completely confuse me still. Just like Live does.

basically, im stubborn and am trying to make the 'switch' by opening my mind and learning to new software packages. I'd like to start with Live. It's interface looks chill but I don't understand how it can be so powerful, it looks like a sequencer + fx with some time stretching tools. Orion took a week to understand. maybe less.

I've yet to find a good intro tutorial that keeps the gemini in mind.

Is there anyone here in the same boat as I? the tutorials are nice and all, but they don't seem to answer any of my questions, they simply remind me that this program is fucking amazing.

If any of ya'll would like to give helping hand and intro me into this, i'd like to apporach it as a DJ, remixing live - and also for production track sequencing and fxs. Can we meet on IRC or AIM? I'd return the favor by sharing my sample library or sharing knowledge.
