I would like to know, too...I've had one sitting on the shelf for a year now...about to purchase LIVE...anyone using ShuttlePRO or SpaceShuttle by Contour Design with LIVE?

Actually, I'd like to know if it can even practically be used for such a program...after I bought the gadget last year and in trying it out realized it actually had far more templates for Windows apps than for Mac (although I was lead to believe it was primarily a Mac gadget), especially thin on OS X apps, and heavier on the DV side, I wrote to Contour Design and complained...asked them when they'd write a template for LIVE, and, while they had many templates for other audio apps, both Win & Mac, they said they had never heard of LIVE...

I've got the controller. Its pretty easy to write your own templates - and given the huge range of options within live thats probably what you would want to do.

Each the buttons can be set to do lots of things - but if you set each one to a different key press and then assign the same key to the function you want in the keyboard map hey presto. One nice thing you can do with the shuttle control is switch between templates, so you could have an editing live template and a performing live template, you just go to the control panel and switch between them (you might even be able to set up the buttons on the shuttle to change them I can't remeber). I think I will take it home with mr this weekend and have a play. Let you know next week.
