Editing across multiple tracks

Hey anyone know how to edit start and end points across multiple tracks (like 8-10 track drums etc...) I'm having to resort to cubase...I know I can move multiple cut-up regions across tracks but to do an edit to tighten my drums tracks and then glue things back together I have to slide each frikking start point of the region....no work gets done and I go nuts!

Please help me, even if you have to tell me where to read it in the manual and laugh at me :>
