Live 5 vs. Emu1616

Hi there

I've just got my new Emu1616 pcmcia audio interface, and was looking forward to freeing up som cpu, by using Emu's dsp fx.
But Live crashes when i try using the fx (and so does windows)

The EMU shipped with Live lite 4 Emu, and so I gathered that these produx were fully compatible.
Any good ideas?????

And to finish in a positive spirit, let me just say that I've been doing electronic music since 1989, and it has NEVER been as easy as now - thanx to Live.

I have a similar problem but slightly different. I have the 1616m and when I drop the DSP effects on a channel nothing happens. I see in the DSP window that the input meters are going but nothing is coming out of the outputs for that channel and the output meters in the DSP window do not move. I think I got it to work once for like a second while i played with Proteus as a VST instrument but then after closing Live I was never able to get the fx working in that app again. I wish I could use these fx in Live.. but hey it's all good, I can't help but love the ones already provided.

If this could be fixed it would open up a world of possibilities (even with the full version of live).

the problem i had with the 1616m was that everytime i tried to cue the next track it came out the speakers at the same time. i tried all kinds of channel configs but could not get it to work its now back in its box. i fired up my old delta 1010 and live configured itself now everything works fine. i hope i can get it to work when i take delivery of my laptop.
