so when is the next update?

Post by Johnisfaster » Thu Oct 20, 2005 10:00 pm

seems like everyone still has problems. and I haven't heard anything from the abes yet about whats going on...

seems like we are about due for the next beta or something....

I'm trying to be patient but we all did pay for a program that we thought would work corrently. not having cpu spikes and crashing and freezing our systems(even on my mac it freezes, the ONLY program I've ever used on here that can freeze it)

so yeah....... being patient... but whats the good news?

i agree completely , live 5 was taken out of beta (or ableton started taking money for live 5) much much too early , im not irate just yet...or im not even really that pissed off (no gigs)....because , and you can call me a dreamer , i believe they will reward us with some decent new features before live goes to version 6.

you should check out the post on 'UnEvEn loops....' .....i'm finding it hard to even get them to acknowledge that its real and needs to be/will be fixed, and needs to be sorted out. the guy im talking to is polite and friendly.....but im just getting lame suggestions , and or 'it works fine here' ......if i had a gig coming up id smash something , but i dont...

hey , now that i think of it.......is there any freeware/demo software out there that can capture video files of whats going on in the desktop?...much like screen capture , just in motion......maybe then they'll believe me

yup, the best is called camtasia studio. It can even convert to flash files so you can host them on a website and any client can view themm...

Its a good idea btw :)
