AAAHHHHHH!!!! That is the MOST accurate re enactment of Live 5 tech support and most peoples experience with Live 5 ever! I cracked up hard core. I'm glad all of us could find some humor out of all this BS at the very least. Good one man!

don't wanna be

A/party pooper

or

B/ Ableton Cheersquad

... but have you tried Digidesign Tech support?

... you're lucky if your email doesn't get bounced.

Ableton are actually very good with looking after their users.

heh , AM...you're on a 'bugs and problems' forum , telling users who are irked by the less than ideal handling of said bugs and problems , that in fact despite our experience...we are wrong and in fact , everything that we think has transpired , has not....and the abes are good at support...im not about to compare their support to anyone else , cos i havent spent top dollar with anyone else , ive spent top dollar here. .....i agree they are nice people , and im not even pissed off...but a facts a fact.....if they said to me 'we're gonna (try and) fix this' i'd be happier about it.....i hate the way a problem is kind of...unacknowledged , and you're basically treated like a beta tester......

also , it seems a genuine problem doesnt seem to be recognised unless quite a few people start fuming about it.......which is sad , because we all use live differently we all wont run into the same prob at the same time , so you have to wait for others to get pissed off before its 'real'

anyways , im downloading a program i heard of called 'camtasia' , i asked in another post for a program that could capture video in the same way a screen capture works , so that i can record the bug in action and send it on

are you using live 5.01 ?...your signature says you are.....just curious , cos im having probs with the latest update

ok... point taken about spending dosh on a program you are finding problems with. I was more taking issue with the cynicism.

i'm actually using 5.02... i will change my sig.

i'm sorry you are having problems... i actually did try out your problem on my computer to see if i could replicate it. I couldn't. and I'm in no way doubting your story btw...

often these issues can be related to third-party plugins etc...

i wish you luck in trying to get the problem fixed.
