I am just getting to know Ableton Live 5...
What a piece of software...
I have two questions for you- that so far I have been unable to find an answer to:
1. I have an M-Audio Audiophile 2496 installed on my system.
One set of outputs - goes stright through to amp and speakers (outputs 1 and 2)
The other ouputs (3 & 4) are patched out as S/PDIF - and end up in headphones.
In ableton - outputs are set up as mono and stereo.
The Master Out and Cue Out allow me to select 1 & 2 - 3 & 4 - or any single channel. However - Ableton does not allow me to mix and match so to speak - to obtain Split Cue... i.e. send 1 & 3 to headphones...
Is there any way around this - to achive what I want to acheive - or should I add this to the Wishlist part of this forum?
2: Follow Action Question. When I obtain new CD's - I want to be able to play them through in Ableton - before I warp tracts, etc.
I cant find a simple way to do this - as follow actions needs me to set bars, etc that the next follow action will fire off on.
I am wondering if I am missing something here - in the sense that I am presuming there is an easy way to acheive what I am after.
