good people of the Ableton-forum!
Is there a way to save ALL the settings which apply to a clip in Live4?
Pressing the save-button seems to apply to some very non-crucial parameters in my case. As you understand I am new to the program.
I have created multiple .als-es and need to combine various clips from different projects in a "master"-set.
It is gradually dawning on me that this is not at all an intelligent way to be working with this "intelligent" software. Confirm this, any1 :?:

clip settings
Hi,
All you save with the "save" button, are the clip parameters, what you see in the clip view, but none of the track settings, i.e. effects etc.. And the problem is, if you want to save multiple instances of the same audio (multiple clips that refer to the same audio)... well... as far as I know, you can't...
Now, as said in another place... Live5 allows you to do all that Live4 lacks, in this domain.
In the meantime, I have no more suggestion but maybe other will have workarounds.
Soryy for not being of great help here....
Best,
amo
