This was never a problem before, but now when i switch between asio drivers (I use asio4all to dj so i can use my pc headphone socket to cue) the program freezes soon after. After this, when i try to restar live i keep getting the 'Live has detected another Rewire Master application running Etc...' If i run Task Manager Live is not listed under 'applications' , but it is listed under processes. Then Live is useless untill i restart my pc, which for some reason doesn't want to shut down after live crashes. I keep getting messages, when i try to shut down, that the file e08.ll or f88.dll etc. wont close...
This happens everytime i do this. I don't think this is the only problem, this morning live just started up dead!! It wouldnt show any cpu usage but wont even load a sample or anything... I tried to restart the application, but nothing, so i had to try and shut this thing down again... AAAaaarrrggghhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!
I even tried to reinstall live 5.02 this weekend, but no change.
This is the first problem i've had with live, but it is seriously annoying!!!
I did recently disable hyperthreading on my pc, could this be a problem cos of that????
I hope someone has a few ideas, cos i'm fresh out...
DETAILS: PC;P4 3.2ghz; Windows XP sp2; Live 5.02; 1.7 GB ram.
P.S When i reinstalled live my pc didn't ask for the serial number again, so there must've still been something in the registry regarding Live.
Think i should uninstall it, then run registry mechanic, then reinstall???
Regards
Eben
P.P.S I do love this program!!!!!!!!!

switch
I switch between asio4all and the x-stations asio driver, cos asio4all allows me to use my pc's souncard to cue when i mix. Then i use the x-station's asio driver to produce, for better latency... Just incase you were wondering
