Clips in arrange should be a white colour...

Post by threesixty » Wed Nov 02, 2005 5:26 pm

When clips are enlarged the part where the waveform is drawn is in grey which
is the same as background. It messes wit your eyes and makes it incredibly difficult
to see a large arrangement properly.

Why not do what Logic does and have the waveform part of the clip in white? Or like Pro Tools where the whole clip is one colour, not just the top part of the clip.

PLEASE DO THIS!!! It would make life a lot easier..

it's nothing to with the skins.

The region/clips all have the same colour as the background they're on.
If you have tons of tracks all you see is loads of grey (or whatever your background is).

It just doesn't look very good, and to be honest, doesn't make any sense at all. I dont know of one sequencer that has the region colour the same as the background.
crazy ...

yep.. It bothers me as well..
think it is still a weaker part of the design..
And the stangest thing is that the top and bottom of the arrange are a bit darker but not the right part.. it has to be the same colour as top/bottom..

I totally agree with this! the background of clips in the arrangement view should be uniformly their own colour - a little strip of colour isn't enough, it really is clearer to have them completely filled in with colour.
