Remixing

Post by charles2000 » Sat Nov 05, 2005 3:43 pm

I am remixing a song , I add a beat to it , but I can still hear the beat of the song I am remixing in back ground, I use th eq to lower the bass, Is there a plugin that I can use to make this happen. or any idea how to achieve this.
Thank Guys.

Right.
The first step you need to take would be to contact the artist and have them agreee to let you remix their track. After that, you should be able to get individual tracks from the origional recording session.
This will make thing alot easier.
Otherwise, yes, EQ will kill certian song elements.
Later.

Hey thanks for your inputs Guys. Firstly I must say that I know that's bootleg, I am not selling or making any money on this, I am just learning to remix, I just Thought If I use a song format and add some loops, Just for learning porpose. I was just trying to kill the hi's and lo's so I can have more of an accapella effect.

Thanks again guys.
