does anyone know if the beeping tone of lives metronome can be replaced with a sound similar to the clicking sound that you get on an mpc?

edit: uh these instructions worked for 4, haven't set up for 5. Ooops also realized this is for OS X.

Proceed as follows:
Let Live analyze the desired ".wav" file by dragging it into any session.
Go to "Applications", select Live, right-click or ctrl-click and choose "show package contents" (guess what it is called in english OS Xs, in german it is called"Paketinhalt zeigen"), go to "Contents", "App-Resources", "Misc". Rename "Metronome.wav" and/or "MetronomeUp.wav" and their ".asd"-Files into "MetronomeOld" or whatever. Put your new metronome sound into the folder and name it exactly (Metronome ".wav" and ".wav.asd" or "..Up.wav"..). It´s practical if you don´t want to work with a clip but want to have a tambourine or shaker or whatever. It ispossible to activate/de-activate the click with either a midi-message or a single key command. I also tried using it for strange, even non-percussive sounds. Notice the sounds work for all sessions of course.

cheers
